Get a couple of crafters together and some ideas, and BAM! FUNN happens. Such was the case Friday night at the Craft Roulette wheel with Karen Boyce from Toronto, Canada. What a lovely, smart lady she is, and when it comes to Copic coloring – shut the door! The best place to keep an eye on this excellent card maker is on her Instagram account called Cards Inks and Stamps (or CSI, for short – see how clever she is). Not only does she have some really pretty cards, she has some great clips in her Instastories, too. Congratulations, too, because yesterday she was named as one of the new design team members for Sandy Boone’s Three Room Studio Stamp company. You’ll sure want to follow her adventure with them. I think the only thing that would have made the evening more FUNN for us would have been to have Prince’s Purple Rain playing in the background. Thank you, Karen!
The parameters were great this week and the wheel welcomed Karen with her favorite type of stamps – florals! Can you believe it? Watching Karen’s reaction to the parameters have inspired us at Craft Roulette, too. Be sure to watch this Friday’s show for a new tweak.
The colors were the curve ball this week, but it was more a seasonal rub than an actual color rub. Maybe Pepto Bismol pink could be a seasonal color. But, not all cards were Barbie/Pepto bismol pink. Some were lovely pastels and almost lavender. All were unique and uniquely inspiring. Thank you, contributors, for taking your ideas and adding them to a card for us! YEAH!
Episode #36 submissions felt like a scene from “Frozen”. If you don’t like a week’s colors, just wait. YEAH!

I’m a card maker located in Toronto, Ontario Canada! I started crafting regularly in 2013. By day you can find me in front of my laptop as I’m in IT. Card making has been a creative outlet that is relaxing for me. I also love to travel and have had the opportunity to join two of my favourite pastimes to go on crafty adventures where I have met some online crafty friends in person. I love to colour so my Copic markers are always nearby!
