FUNN University is one of my most happiest places. I love breaking down concepts and applications that will help paper crafters. Every new month I wondering about the Labs (scrapbooking, intro classes, and cards), and if they are worthwhile or just repeats of contents. Whether I can make a meaningful class stretch over 3 hours. Will the class be worth it for the time my students will give up to watch it. And, after nearly 2 years, I think we can say, yes, we have and offer something very special on the campus of FUNN U.

Consider this amazing quote by a student about FUNN U.

“Thank you, Mary!  Craft Roulette and FUNN U have been the lifeline I’ve needed during the lockdown. I’m still enjoying creating and learning. You are providing an essential service. Thank you.

What will you do this winter? Join us!

This Weeks’ Realization

According to Martha Stewart, a 2021 trend will be “Japandi” which is a minimalistic approach to life which combines Japanese and Scandinavian designs for a sleek look. While I might not go that far, I do think having less (or plenty or enough) can be a time saving benefit. Let me tell you some of the ways I can lighten my supplies.

Using what I have saves time for more crafting.
Instead of having to find space for the sped up supply of new products to show, or time for using them. I can use what I am acquainted with in new ways. Focusing on learning about design and concepts, I am able to make decisions on using my products, too. FUNN University helps this.

No Face-to-Face Events
During this lockdown and not having live classes and crops required some getting use to thinking, too. There are no future person-to-person events planned in my future. That actually took quite a time to realize after 20 years of hosting so many events! I don’t need extra papers, doubles of tools, etc. I can use things up and not worry about it. Teaching online helps this.

This realization may be obvious to some of you and new to others. Take it as it is meant – just as a personal realization in my crafting journey.

Let’s see if I’ve made anything…
