Sometimes more isn’t better.
It sure is true with this Slimline card! So, with a trim and a style, I ended up with two A2 size cards that were much better. Made this card after last Friday’s Craft Roulette Episode #33.
This Week’s Realization
Slowing down during this fast (remember I still have a budget I have not touched) is really making me think through what I may purchase in November or December.
So, I research “new” product lines. I have lived in a one-product line, self-imposed, bubble for 20 years, after all. I ask my students at FUNN University (many are CTMH Consultants, but there are also Stamping Up Demonstrators, and hobbyists without a company affiliate), I ask my Guest Crafters on Craft Roulette, and look up info on blogs. Without an affiliation, I feel more responsible to my own needs, creative whims, and budget instead of buying what is the next thing. It’s an incredible feeling.
There is a lot out there!
Shopping Carts are FUNN to fill, but then “X” out. It helps me think – this product may be a good product, but not now and maybe never.

This fast does not seem to be lessening my production!
After ten live FUNN University lessons in October and four LIVE Craft Roulette lessons, my craft room gets totally destroyed – it is great.
No expenses this week.
My Take Away So Far
Stash: Didn’t make a dent in my supplies – again!
Limiting Purchases: Getting close to buying a few things. Looking forward to November sales that I’m sure will happen! Things I’m looking at include background stamps, stencils, and Catherine Pooler ink/reinkers. I’m still doing really well, though, and have a LOT to work with.
Using What I Have: Totally working!
Challenge yourself! Your challenge does not have to be the same as mine. Your challenge may be to finish a project plus a deadline, to sort through a pile of paper and give 10% away, to have a craft sale, or whatever it is that acts as a roadblock to your creativity and craft time.
Let us know in the comments and on I go! #StashBashChallenge.
Have a FUNN week.
