Candyland Gnome Stamps & More

Have you ever flipped a stamp? All sorts of FUNN happens when you do.

This month on my FB LIVE from my MESK! (my hybrid word for “messy desk”), I’ve been creating gnomes. Now, you may or may not know that besides FUNN University, I am a Close To My Heart consultant (have been for almost 20 years). Oh, yeah, now you get it, that’s why I use just CTMH products! Close To My Heart, however, does not have a gnome stamp right now, so I had to put on my pointy thinking cap and create one, two, three or so ways to make gnomes.

Here is what I discovered and created on Saturday’s LIVE from my MESK! A “flipped-out” gnome using a stamp from the From Candyland stamp set. Yes, the gnomes are made from flipping over the “candy corn” stamp of the kit.

Here’s how the gnomes were born.

The gnomes were born from this loaded stamp set called From Candyland (D1884).

Don’t forget the inside of the card, too!

This flipped stamp trick also worked for the next card that I’m entering to the Inspired By Challenge. Their challenge this week is based on this garland. I think the gnomes in the forest card works because of the colors. The challenge is super FUNN because it allows for such a wide interpretation. I hope you will visit the site and try it, too!

Looks like a comet coming! LOOK OUT, GNOMES!

The CTMH colors I used are Sage (the forest), Smoothie (mat), Carolina (the gnomes), plus Clear Shimmer Pen, Le Pen Journaling Pen, Red Glitter paper, and the From Candyland stamp set – so cute! BTW, we will be using this stamp set more in December on the online campus of FUNN University in December.

So, you know when you spend a lot of time thinking about something, more thoughts about the same thing pop up? That happened yesterday when I was alone with paper and pencil. I drew my family as gnomes!

This drawing will be used for a synopsis of our year in the 2019 scrapbook. I think our family could be a great coloring book or children’s story characters!

FUNN University isn’t like anything else because
1. it is open to consultants
2. there are pre-recorded classes and LIVE classes, and all classes are archived
3. we are in beta and the monthly fee is super low
4. FUNN University is designed for the support you need for the FUNN you want because we believe sharing paper crafting is an important part of life to share.
5. As always, we want to thank the beta testers who have helped us so much over the past year! You are rock stars!

See you on campus or at my MESK! on Saturday!

Until then, XOXO, and have FUNN,

mary
