Happy FUNNday MUNNday! For my consultant friends, this post is for you!

Happy FUNNday MUNNday!

I know many of you are just back from the exciting Close To My Heart Convention (#ctmhconv2017) and I have an idea for you while you are waiting for your new products to arrive. Create and plan a class using your old cardstock color wheels!

If you have been with CTMH for a spell or nearly a third of your life, like me, you may have some outdated cardstock color wheels. Today I have an idea to share on using those beautiful squares of nostalgia (I spy “Clover Meadow” and “Heavenly Blue”)!

Transform these squares into simple cards or tags, if you’d like.
Originally got this idea from Confetti by Lexi’s  “Pantone Match Inspired” post. See her great post HERE.

What you will need:

Trim the 3″x3″ cardstock sample to 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ (trim off the hole and one other side).
Grab the scraps for more FUNN later!

OR use these squares for a TECHNIQUE tutorial
(a class idea is to use the matching old cardstock). Yeah, you just saw the light, didn’t you?

– make 4″x4″ White Daisy squares – perfect for an Instalife album & protectors
– type the technique high points and adhere them on the back

Tone-on-tone stamping
FUNN TIPP: start with center heart and work out
Glam the focal point with Shimmer Pen

Four Square
Highlight coordinating cardstock of different color intensity to show how beautifully CTMH colors work together.
These colors are Lilac Mist and Spring Iris; do you remember those?
The sentiment is stamped in Versamark and Clear Detailed embossing powder.

Cricut Shape Stencil
Pull out a Cricut shape from your stash, then ink (use a similar color or slightly darker) bounce till your heart is happy!
Then use the Shimmer Pen to highlight the image left by the stencil – very Vegas, baby.

Use the Stencil, too!
Simple double dipping use FUNN technique.
Add Shimmer pen to shape or cover with Versamark and Clear Embossing Powder!

Background and Details
Tone-on-tone stamp the heart, stamp the detail stamp with Versamark and Clear Detail embossing powder.
Cover the entire background in Clear Shimmer Pen.

Flukey Dukes
This was an oops, but teaching grace for “oopsers” is important, too!
Tone-on-tone stamped, then embossed the heart and the detail. Hmm.
I found this stamp on my desk and don’t know where it goes. Please help!

Becoming a Consultant & Operation Smile
We have a unique CTMH culture, don’t we?
Be sure to share the opportunity of CTMH and the value of donating to #OperationSmile!

Class could help past consultants reconnect, new stampers, young stampers, those who are hungry to learn how to USE their stamps!

You are invited to give your ideas on a CTMH FB page, use the hashtag #colorwheelrepurposed.

Thanks, Mary! Love your ideas and will be coming back for more. This is the year I’m cutting back at work to have more time to share the paper fun with friends! There! I put it in writing!
