Artbooking in August 2013 FUNN – Layout

standing “o” for our blog coordinator Adeline Brill!

Welcome blog hoppers from Priscilla’s Gotham’s blog!
FUNN stuff this blog hopping, isn’t it?
This layout was made with the elegant Huntington papers, but what’s this?
This is no elegant layout!
Using the Close To My Heart ARTBOOKING Cricut Cartridge I turned elegant to rugged.
The nifty “wood” overlays were cut from the options on page 66 using overlay /shift key for “L”.
I accidentally discovered when cut at 10.5″ the overlay left a great space for framing.
BTW, I found the plastic Cricut scraper to be a great way to remove all the leftover pieces from the mat.
As far as adhering – go for the Bonding Memories Glue so all those edges behave properly.
Do you like how the Cocoa card stock shows through?
The “postage stamp” the photo mats are also found on page 66 (Photo Mat 2 / shift).
Mr. Tree was made from the same cotton pickin’ page and paper set. my my my
Guess what else – the “Great Outdoors” title – same page.
I’m sold.
The Artbooking Cricut Cart is one of the coolest tools to have in your Cricut Collection.
There will be a mid week post about my 2nd Anniversary FUNN Timers’ (formerly Mary Gunn FUNN Pajama Party) September Shopping list, layout photos, and the FUNN in store!
Have FUNN!

    Mary –

What a fabulous use of the Huntington paper pack! Love your tip about cutting the half overlay slightly smaller for framing space – it looks REALLY good on your layouts and definitely a tip I'll be using!
