Sometimes scraps are just what I need to make something a little less traditional, like this!
For the title, I used alpha scraps like some Houndstooth Dimensional Elements!
There are a few no longer available lots-o-dots alphabet pieces, too, and Cricut letters – see below.
Banner is from CTMH’s Artiste Cricut Cartridge – the darker pieces are on top of the lighter piece – surprise!
The colors I used on this layout are so not traditional!
Nothing says Christmas like Creme Brulee, Desert Sand and Bamboo, said no one ever.
How ’bout using Brown Sparkles at Christmas?
Trees are made from cutting shapes from an entire 12″x12″ sheet of scrap strips.
Look where I patched the blue card stock because I changed my mind!
Used several left over letters from my November FUNN Clubb class, too, which had been cut using the CTMH’s Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.
I keep a bunch of basic Cricut cut shapes handy for a quick add-on element, like the “25” oval.
And here is the layout ready for the memories!
If you like the trees, watch for an up coming post!
Hope you are already making Christmas memories!
