Scrapbooking Christmas is a Great Idea for EVERYONE

“Christmas is too much work to not scrapbook the memories.” me
Don’t you agree?

MYTHS about scrapbooking

  • scrapbooking is too hard
  • scrapbooking is for old ladies
  • you have to have an entire room full of “crapbooking” stuff
  • scrapbooking takes too much time
  • you have to be creative

OK, so I admit, this layout was involved, made by an old lady, who has an entire room of SCRAPbooking stuff, that took a lot of time, and I am creative, but this is not true about ALL scrapbooking!
FUNNy thing is, this is a layout remake from an acid-filled, magnetic-sheet, photo-eating picture album of the 1990’s. I’m in the process of re-doing pages that are in an unsafe habitat, if you will, for keeping memories. Gotta say, though, this layout is a LOT cuter!

Holly Jolly Christmas, scrapbooking Christmas, Christmas Cookies, Best Sugar Cookie recipe ever,

This layout was made on the online campus of FUNN University, my online program where I am the founder and head professor. We have a mix of pre-recorded videos, and very FUNN live classes every month to teach you how. The student body is great, and we have a blast in the chat room, as long as Eunice doesn’t show up (Eunice is our technical mischief maker and we blame her for anything that goes wrong).

FUNN University may or may not be for you, but I promise, having saved memories is for you.

I know, because when I look at these 29-year-old photos, my heart is filled with love of my family, this season, and COOKIES!

LET’s celebrate the imperfect season because it gave us the perfect reason to celebrate.

I am thinking of people who work so hard to make the “perfect”* Christmas experience for their families, but do not save their memories. Friends, I want to encourage you to not reach for preconceived versions of a “perfect” Christmas. Interruptions, spilled milk, burnt cookies, crying babies, tired mommies, and grumpy teenagers are real life.
