Good morning, SUNNshine!
It’s time to rev your creative gland up for your weekend crafting time!
Today I am featuring another FUNN way to repurpose your older cardstock color rings or wheels.
The color wheel cards came in mighty handy for mats on this project! They determined the project size, too.
These projects feature the Close To My Heart #WordPuzzle stamp sets!
Read about this offer here (and HERE to find out how you can get them through me in a drawing)!
I found this cute card how-to pattern from Dawn’s Stamping Thoughts post via my brilliant team member Susan Fogle.
Thank you, ladies, for your cleverness! Be sure to check out both blogs for great ideas!
There is a clever little 3″x3″ card has a pocket inside (scroll down to see how the card fits in the pocket).
I added a loose little sunny face just because I could.
There is no way to know how many times I have used that smiley face in my projects, but it has been a bunch.
Here is my very inaccurate, sloppy, quickly made mask to color Mr. Sunshine. He is a lovely Canary yellow via a Finger Dauber.
BTW, the brown in this card is Cocoa and heads’ up, the entire Basics color line is to be retired and then replaced at the end of the month!
CHECK YOUR RE-INKERS!
Since I have been using the Color Wheels for projects, I’ve been digging into some of my retired papers, too.
FUNNy how one action will lead to another action! I think this project uses Moonstruck and Chalk It Up!
FUNN TIPP: How FUNN would this card be for your child’s teacher from last year! List why the teacher was so helpful and great for your child. It would be a wonderful encouragement to give her on a welcome back night.
BONUS FUNN: add a photo of your child and teacher on the opposite side of the pocket. Over the top cute idea!
Seriously FUNN to go retro. But get this, CTMH FUNN friends, look how trendy these stamps are right now!
The negative space “friend” stamp is spot on trendy!
That “September” has a very current feel. Am I right?
This 4″x4″ card used the colors from the patterned paper to determine the stamped image colors. I borrowed from the current #CTMH palette for the blue ink. I used Pacifica for the word and leaves. CTMH has an incredible ability to make their colors work together.
Alright! That should be enough for this morning. Going to spend all day scrapping, doesn’t that sound beautiful?
You have a FUNN day and that is an order!
P.S. The Super Glue Guys have a FB Page with a collection of Kidd Crafts in case you have some antsy artists in your house!
