It’s FUNN to Cluster

We have a tie  between the Flower Cluster and the Butterfly Cluster. Don’t think I’ll have a Cluster Buster, but it would be FUNN!

Thanks to all the voters.
Winner of the 3 Clusters is…….scroll down!

Let me know if you vote and you might win all 3 clusters – peanut clusters may or may not be included  :o)

One of my favorite elements on a scrapbook page is a cluster. It is like a mini collage and can add a ton of interest to a layout.

Here are a few ideas I hope you’ll like:
This cluster is a dandy dolled up journaling space. I’ve added some scrunched 3-D flowers, Mocha Gems and a cool little scalloped edge.
Can you figure out how I made the scalloped edge?
This is a little geometric cluster with a lot of color and a playful feel with the twisted rectangles.
The butterflies are from the Pair-a-Phrase stamp set – again – love it!
Going from bright colors to an all neutral cluster here.
Sometimes an outlined image doesn’t need to have color added to make its point.
I’ve used the “Limited Edition” September Stamp of the Month and Pair-a-Phrase to make a special little spot for  “WHOOOOO”, what, when or where.
Some of the keys to making clusters work include:
colors which work together
a variety of large and small elements
prepositions: peeking from behind, nestling beside, sticking above, and layered on top of
Try throwing some elements together and seeing what clusters you can grow!
The 3 Cluster Winner is Deniese! YEAH!
I’ll add these to your Card Party Kit this month!
Thank you for playing — and the scallops?
Made by cutting a scalloped punch circle in 1/4ths!

Hey Mary,
They are all pretty stinkin' cute.I voted for the Good Times cluster and of course peanut clusters. I'm guessing you did the scalloped edge with circles cut in half.

I love your scrunchy flowers so I would have to pick that one…looks like some scalloped circles to me…but you might have sneaked something in on us 🙂
