This is not my new neighborhood – nope – not at all, but I loved making this card or pretty for a layout. I used the CTMH My Acrylix Stamp Set Neighborhood C1384 and a lot of paper piecing.
The tulip B&T Duo paper mat is from the Creative Basics Jingle x5808 that I used and described in the post below.
One other thing I did to define this little ditty was to use the My Legacy Writer Black Pens 4275 for some distinction.
For those of you who do not love to use scissors, this project may either be good to avoid or good for getting over your aversion by immersion. wink – just remember these tips:
CUT to Success
1. use really good scissors (CTMH’s Micro-Tip Scissors z534)
2. use a really good light source
3. move the paper not the scissors
4. cut from the base of the blades in even long strokes
5. use the tip of scissors for small snips
6. keep your breathing in nice even inhaling and exhalings!!! No fuming, pouting or breath holding! tee hee
