A blog I have really enjoyed is Jeanette Lynton, the Close To My Heart’s founder and CEO. She has heart warming stories, contests, ideas and out-of-this world beautiful artwork.

A FUNN thing she has been adding is a Color-Me-Monday entry and here is last Monday’s combo.

It reminds me of the first demo board I made 9+ years ago when I joined CTMH as a Consultant. The FUNN techniques I made with my wood set of stamps (how did we use those!!!) were stamping on vellum, making plaid (still one of my favorites), and wet embossing.

The wet embossing technique used white embossing powder with the cluster of grapes and then using a sponge dauber, I would add color with Smokey Plum. Everyone would ooo and ahhh. It was cool and it was very pretty.

Here is the link to Jeanette’s blog – put it on your favorites, I think you’ll enjoy it.

Soon as I find the top of my art table, I’ll try to recreate a few of my first works – I still have the wood stamps displayed along with the first card I made of Lenny Lamb at the first DOTS party I attended. We’ve come a long way, baby!
