I don’t know about you, but I am having FUNN sharing different flavors of the Live Beautifully National Scrapbooking Paper Pack.
Step right up to my “31-flavors” blog counter for the “Flavor of the Day”!
Today’s card uses my card sketch from my May 24th post, but wow, such a different flavor combination!
Really, all these papers are from one Live Beautifully paper pack (Live Beautifully 14.95)
My card sketch (see May 24th post) is just a jumping off spot! Today I substituted a butterfly for one of the circles, added a sentiment banner on the front, a tiny bottom border, and sequins because this “cone” has multi-flavored paper “scoops” and sprinkles all at once!
The butterfly is no longer available, sorry. I had a small sheet of these white embossed butterflies on my desk for such an occasion as this.
I painted it with Blossom, Pansy, Glacier, and Black (not Archival) CTMH inks with a pretty dry Water Brush and I had to add some shiny Clear Shimmer Pen.
There are playful combos going on, too, such as the gold foil accents and I love the “zip strip” of tiny roses.
When I cut the rose zip strip, I left 1/2″ of the Background & Texture paper on, so when you open the card, ther is a little pretty surprise.
Scroll down for more samples of the antique teal floral paper. Did someone think this paper had a frumpy flavor? I can work with that!
Did you know Close To My Heart has released a free scrapbooking diagram for us?
They have! CLICK HERE for details about this diagram (be checking back to see what I do with it, too)!
Have a FUNN day! I have more flavors to share with you this weekend, so keep me bookmarked on your mobile app if you are out and about!
