Who is Chucky? He was a little “A” sized stamp form D.O.T.S. (now CTMH) that my daughter Leah loved. She used him ubiquitously (man, I even spelled “ubiquitously” correctly without spell check) in all her projects made in her “Art Stamping” class at a home school co-op about 13 years ago.
This stamped image is particularly apropos (I did have to look that word up and ask Doug, too) because Le’s reoccuring theme was, “Hedgehogs are falling”.
And I’ve added a little FUNN by dressing up Chucky with some paper piecing clothes… Chucky’s Haute Couture! (thanks, Doug, again) Do you think he has promise?
In response to Sheila’s comment:
Why thank you, Miss Sheila. Couple of things I have found to be cute, also, is to start with stamping in Cocoa on a piece of Bamboo cardstock, stencil color the prickly part, and darken the eyes and nose with a Legacy Writer.
I stamped in Cocoa on colored cardstock or B*T paper for his outfit. You can rub off his tummy button before you stamp.
I sponged Cocoa ink around the outfit’s color to disguise the cut off “legs” and “arms” of the once Hedgehog body turned clothes.
How cute would this be with a pink or blue diaper for a baby card???
