Card Sketch Day Five & the Many Flavors of the National Scrapbooking Paper Pack

Day five of my sharing the different flavors of the
Live Beautifully National Scrapbooking Paper Pack and a simple card I designed.
Step right up to my “31-flavors” blog counter for the TWO “Flavors of the Day”!

Today, I am featuring the flower from the Live Beautifully’s coordinating My Acrylix stamp set.
The rose was stamped and then painted with Close To My Heart inks. I added a wee bit of detail with a 0.3 black pen and a touch here or there with a white gel pen.

Of course, I couldn’t resist some Shimmer Pen! This time I used the gold Shimmer Pen and at the above angle, you can really get an unmistakeable view of the results. In most light and at most angles, you do not get such a Las Vegas rose feel (WOW, that would be a great title “Las Vegas Rose Feel”)!

Substituting quiet papers for the circle elements makes the rose focal point really “shine”!

Here is another card where this beautiful paper is teamed with the shabby chic weathered wood of “No Worries” (which is the next Pajama FUNN Party scrapbooking featured paper pack).

Used both florals for to show the look. I think they turned out pretty and so very easy to create!
